Bizarre animals and resource-heavy crafting projects abound in the upcoming open world title Yonder: The Cloud Catcher Chronicles. It’s due for release on 18 July, but I’ve been playing around with some review code.

Half an hour of footage from Yonder can be seen below, in which I embark on part of the game’s main quest (to fix up the titular catcher of clouds). There’s also a look at farm management (including some heavy petting), mixed success at fishing, and plenty of exploration of the game’s first two environments. It has eight in total.
Everything in the game is rather charming, as the video should amply demonstrate. Update: Video should be properly embedded now. Sorry about that.
