Over the weekend Epic held a special exhibition tournament with some of the top Paragon teams which also gave us another look at the .42 update.

When this update arrives tomorrow, Paragon has essentially changed, everything you know about cards, CXP etc is thrown out the window. What players can expect it a more versatile and pacey experience as attack speed has increased and there’s variable movement speed on heroes.

The game objectives have not changed, but it’s going to take some time to rebuild decks and experiment with all the new cards that are being introduced. It’s certainly aiming to be more action-packed with speedier games.

Yesterday’s live stream showed how the game is changing and it’s worth watching the .42 match to get an idea of what to expect. It’s a good introduction to the changes and we’ll also be taking a look at the changes over the next few days.
