Steam Curator Connect now live for all developers

As part of Valve’s plan to revamp the Curator system on Steam, one of the features allows developers to send games directly to Curators with Steam Curator Connect.

After a few weeks of testing the Curator system both for developers and Curators, Valve is now allowing all developers to send review requests directly to Curators accounts in Steam. This means that there is no longer any need to have Steam keys sent via email which has been a problem.

What has tended to happen is random gamers send emails to developers pretending to be from a media outlet requesting keys. Sometimes developers send them and wonder why they are not getting coverage even though they sent a key. We have had this happen to us a few times.

As the system went live today, we have noticed requests starting to come in via the new system on out Curator account. All Curators are sent an email to alert them to the fact there is a code waiting for them and they can either accept or reject the request,

The new Curator ‘store’ pages are not live yet and are still flagged as being in beta when you check.
