Blizzard is holding their second anniversary event for Overwatch and it kicks off next week.
The event will start on 22 May and run until 11 June. The game will also be getting a free weekend from 25 may until 28 May. Overwatch players will be able to get their hands on 50 new cosmetics which includes 11 new skins. New dance emotes are also being added for Doomfist, Moira, and Brigitte.
All of last year’s seasonal content will also be purchasable and all seasonal brawls will be activated including Lucio Ball and even then Uprising and Retribution events. A new deathmatch map is also be added called Petra deathmatch is getting a competitive mode which includes leaderboards and full ranking.
Simply put, Blizzard is throwing everything but the kitchen sink at this event and no doubt the loot boxes will be flying off the shelves.

Past brawls and cosmetics are back for Overwatch Anniversary 2018.
