Total War: Three Kingdoms E3 gameplay reveal

The next major Total War title from Creative Assembly is Total War: Three Kingdoms. Hot on the heels of the in0-engine cinematic released a couple of days ago, a new trailer has been released with gameplay.

This video takes viewers through a single battle. Cao Cao takes on Lu Bu and his starving forces. Cao Cao is about to strike starting by taking down the Xiapi defenses. This video also shows the new duels feature that’s been added where two heroes will battle face to face without their armies. These duels will allow players to single out an enemy combatant which could turn the tide of battle. The duels look pretty good although it’s not clear exactly how they will work from this video.

Total War: Three Kingdoms will be appearing early next year, but for now, let this final assault commence!
