Did you forget that Ubisoft’s Far Cry 3 was going to have co-op? I certainly did, so this Gamescom trailer was a bit of a surprise. In it, you’ll get to meet four unfortunate souls who’ve wound up on the game’s main island and would really rather not be there. You can almost taste the attempts to recreate the dynamics of Valve’s Left 4 Dead series as the co-op’s four characters are introduced.
There’s the crooked cop, the Russian hitman, the former soldier and the … err … “Scottish thug” (hey, don’t look at me like that, that’s what the trailer calls him). Judging by his chef skills, the Scottish guy is (very) loosely based on Gordon Ramsey.
