Have you ever wanted to play a real-life version of Fortnite? Well, thanks to one company in the UK, now you can! A company aptly named Battle Royale is allowing visitors to play a Fortnite-inspired game of laser tag in real life. According to Gamebyte.com, for those of you living in the UK or planning on traveling there this summer, you are in for a treat.
They are marketing themselves as: “Battle Royale: The UK’s #1 Outdoor Laser Tag Experience.“
The company is based in Leicester, England and is only offering this experience until summer’s end. They posted the following on their website:
“This Summer join us for the ultimate Outdoor Battle Royale. Set across 6 acres of Leicestershire[‘s] finest Countryside, Laser battle through 3 massive Fortnite themed areas. Play with your mates in Solo, Duos or Squads while parents can relax in our refreshment zone.“
Replicated Fortnite locations include Tilted Towers, Greasy Grove, and Pleasant Park. They will also include features such as shipping containers to take cover in, as well as disco balls. And yes, there are even llamas!
Children nine years old and below must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Likewise, the minimum age requirement to enter the park is six years old. After purchasing your ticket, you get 45 minutes to play to your heart’s content in one of three modes: Solo, Duo, or Squad Play.
