The Abyssus V2 is an upgraded version of its eponymous predecessor. It offers enhanced gaming capabilities at an affordable price—US$49.99, or CA$69.99—as well as ambidextrous form factor. The mouse boasts a 5,000 DPI optical sensor, three-colour lighting, and the ability to toggle between five different customizable DPI stages. Its four tactile switches boast a lifespan of up to 20 million clicks, and are grooved for comfort and control. In-mould rubber side grips are meant to enhance users’ lift-off / swiping gameplay capabilities.

Gamers with larger hands may find it’s a little on the smaller size, measuring 4.6 x 2.5 x 1.5 in (117 x 64 x 38 mm), and fairly light at 2.8 oz (80 g) without cable. Entry-level gamers, however, will appreciate the affordable cost for the level of functionality.

Razer supplies hardware for several world-renown eSports teams, most recently partnering with North American team Discord.

The mouse can be pre-ordered either through Razer’s retailer website, or through Amazon.
