Elden Ring, the latest title from developer FromSoftware, is no stranger to throwing its players into some tricky challenges. In fact, one of its hardest fights was against Starscourge Radahn. This hulking behemoth was once able to decimate players with high damaging ranged attacks and a frantic flurry of combos. However, after patch 1.03, Radahn’s damage output was reduced enough to make the fight much easier. Well, after the latest update for Elden Ring, it looks like Radahn got a re-buff and is back to normal.
The update goes live today and only brings one change to the game. It fixes “a bug in the balance adjustment” for Starscourge Radahn after the power of some attacks was “unintentionally reduced.” What this means is that this boss is likely back to where it was before. For some, that’s bound to be good news. But for others, it’s understandable if you aren’t exactly pleased.
To no one’s surprise, Elden Ring is indeed a challenging game. It throws plenty of curveballs at its players, and even those with years of Dark Souls training can struggle. So the fact that Radahn is as challenging as he is shouldn’t be too shocking. Still, there are aspects to the fight which are annoying to deal with. In fact, the reduction of Radahn’s damage output was first believed to be intentional due to how many players had complained about it. In typical FromSoftware fashion, though, Radahn was always supposed to be that way.
Regulation file update 1.03.3 for #ELDENRING is available now: it fixes a bug in the balance adjustment of the boss "Starscourge Radahn" in update 1.03, in which the power of some attacks was unintentionally reduced.

Elden Ring‘s Radahn fight is difficult, but still doable
Starscourge Radahn’s re-buff probably isn’t the greatest news for some Elden Ring players. But don’t let it discourage you, as the fight is far from impossible.
