Most of the passageways and rooms are locked at the start, but you’ll be able to enter them soon enough. Genshin Impact Starshadow Lamp and Asterism Shard star puzzle guide
There are multiple puzzles and mechanics that you’ll need to be aware of in Mona’s astral domain in Genshin Impact:
- Asterism Shards and Starshadow Lamps – The shards are small tablets that you place in the top and bottom slots of the central device. The completed pictograph should then resemble the constellation shown on the lamp to remove the barrier.
- Star Guide – A diagram will be shown on the ceiling or in another room. You’ll need to hit pedestals and rotate them so the beams of light match the diagram.
- Mirage mazes – Mona will sometimes get transported to a maze-like chamber where you’ll have to follow a floating star.
- Transition in the overworld – During a couple of sequences, you’ll have to go to a marked location to pick up a shard that’s used back in the domain’s central chamber.
