How to complete Lighthouse Restoration in Octopath Traveler 2

To begin Lighthouse Restoration, you need to head to Canalbrine on the east coast of the western continent. Inside the city, there will be a river that you can sail on. Head north up that river until you reach the city’s lighthouse. Speak to the Town Lighthouse Keeper standing outside the lighthouse and he’ll explain that the lighthouse’s reflector is broken and he is in desperate need of a replacement.

To find a replacement reflector you’ll need to sail to Lighthouse Island located just north of New Delsta Harbor: Anchorage on the west coast of the eastern continent. However, to do so you’ll first need to buy a ship purchased as part of Partitio’s ‘The Scent of Commerce’ storyline. Since buying a ship costs 100,000 Leaves, it can take a while before you can complete Lighthouse Restoration in Octopath Traveler 2.

If you own a ship then you can head to Lighthouse Island by sailing a short distance north from New Delsta Harbor: Anchorage. Once you’re on Lighthouse Island, head northwest and loot the chest for 12,000 Leaves. Afterward, head inside the island’s lighthouse and use Partitio’s Purchase Path Action on the Island Lighthouse Keeper to buy the Aelmorite Reflector for 1,500 Leaves.

With the Aelmorite Reflector acquired you can return to Canalbrine and speak to the Town Lighthouse Keeper. Upon doing so, you’ll be able to hand over the reflector which he’ll install and then thank you for. After the cutscene ends you’ll have finished Lighthouse Restoration in Octopath Traveler 2. The reward for finishing this side story is 12,000 Leaves, a Lighthouse Keeper’s Bandana head item, and a Tough Nut (L).
