The well-received and much-loved dino game, Ark, is being remade in all new high-def glory. However, the question stands as to whether Ark Survival Ascended will be available to play on Game Pass or only for purchase.

Will you be able to play Ark Survival Ascended on Xbox Game Pass?
For now, it is inconclusive if Ark Survival Ascended will be on Game Pass or not. Currently, it isn’t available on PC Game Pass. However, when ASA comes out on Xbox, the title could be put on Game Pass.
Most signs are pointing towards it coming to the platform and relatively quickly. The relationship between the Ark team and Windows has always been a close one. Ark Survival Evolved is already available on Game Pass, so we wouldn’t be shocked to see Ark Survival Ascended hit the subscription service as well.
In a recent announcement from the Xbox Partner Program, it was noted that upcoming footage of Ark Survival Ascended would be broadcast. This suggests that the partnership will continue with the developers and Xbox.
I think we can safely assume that the game will be coming to Xbox Game Pass relatively soon. However, when that will be is still unsure. It could be at launch, but they may also want to get a few sales in before it becomes free to play for all Xbox Game Pass subscribers.
If you can’t wait to get your hands on some Ark action, then Xbox Game Pass has all you need. Ark Survival Evolved and all its add-ons are available to play on there.
You can get the full experience of the 2015 hit with all the extras. The full bundle with all add-ons would set you back $29.60 on Steam at the time of writing. So, the cost of Xbox Game Pass is well worth it, not to mention all the other great titles available.
If you’re waiting for Ark Survival Ascended to come to Xbox Game Pass, you may need to wait until after release. However, with my research, I would say you can rest assured that it will eventually be available to play for free for subscribers.
