The ever-changing landscape of MW3 Warzone is yet again about to evolve with the introduction of many new items and gear. The High-Gain Antenna will be available to unlock and use in Warzone with Season 3, bringing all new surveillance to the game.
How to unlock the High-Gain Antenna in Warzone
The High-Gain Antenna will be available for all to grab from the launch of Warzone Season 3. Simply head into your Warzone loadout and equip it in your gear slot. You can then use it in-game to reap all the benefits the piece of surveillance equipment provides.
How to use the High-Gain Antenna
When I play first-person shooters, especially something as populated as Warzone, I like to have my eye on the sky. I find huge benefits to learning where enemies are, whether that’s through audio cues or surveillance. This is why I will be getting the High-Gain Antenna in my Warzone loadout ASAP.
There are three main bonuses to using the High-Gain Antenna gear in Warzone. They are quite similar to the CCT vest you can equip. However, this is a gear piece, leaving your vest slot free.
The first is the zoomed-out minimap. This bonus means that when your UAV is called in or people are firing weapons, you can have a much broader view. A larger minimap gives a far superior understanding of the landscape around you.
The second perk allows you to keep enemy pings on the map longer if one of your squadmates has the CCT perk on their vest. The two pair well together, providing more intel on enemy presence.
The final Warzone perk of the High-Gain Antenna allows you to see nearby ally radar pings from Intel Jacker and compass indicators from nearby ally Signal Jammers. This just furthers your surveillance levels on the Warzone playing field.
This High-Gain Antenna should be paired with both the CCT vest and Signal Jammers. It will provide a wide and much more detailed view of enemy movement, allowing you and your squad to hone in on the action. Knowing the enemy’s movements without them knowing you allow for ambushes and flanking that wouldn’t be possible in the game otherwise. Use your eye in the sky tactically, and you’ll always be one step ahead.
