Blizzard had to start somewhere and they released a few cracking titles many, many years ago. If you want to take a trip down memory lane with Blizzard then you can as Rock n’ Roll Racing and The Lost Vikings have now been added to Battle.Net completely free.

That’s not all. Blackthorne has also been added for download and that is probably my favourite early Blizzard game with its great character animations. The first one I actually played was The Lost Vikings when it was released as a demo on the cover some PC gaming mag I can;t even remember. Those were the good old days of demo releases.

To get your hands on these classics, all you need to do is head to your Battle.Net account page and at the bottom there’s a “Classics” section where all three games are available to download for free. If you have never played any of these then I suggest you give them a try, they’re still really fun.

The games will run no problem thanks to DOSBox and the ZSNES emulator for Rock n’ Roll Racing. Simply download, install or unzip and off you go.
