All new items in FFXIV Patch 6.5

We're going into 6.5 styled and with a lot of furniture.

With the drop of a major patch comes an assortment of new items added to FFXIV. 6.5 has blessed us with a lot of new glamour items in particular to make sure we keep up with the true endgame. Here are all the new items in FFXIV Patch 6.5. Note this will not cover items meant for later seasonal releases or with no known way to get yet, those will come as they’re meant to.

6.5 all new items: Weapons and armor

  • The Voidmoon set from the new Dungeon, Lunar Subterrane.
  • The Diadochos sets now come in augmented form.
  • The Theogonic sets are from the new Alliance Raid, Thaleia.
  • The Voidvessel weapons are from the new Trial, The Abyssal Fracture.
  • There’s also the Smaragdine weapons crafted from the Emerald Weapon trial’s crafting material.

Glamour items

  • The new Lupins flower seed pot makes Lupin Corsages. The Rainbow one is particularly pretty.
  • Faux Commander Earrings and Necklace are now available from Faux Hollows for 350 Faux Leaves each.
  • The Fierce Tyrant armor set from the level 25 PvP reward, because they love giving us armor sets.
  • That’s not all from PvP, though. We have not one, but six new sets of glamour items available for Trophy Crystals, two different variants each of three different sets. They’re called Model A, B, and C sets 1 and 2 respectively, with a modern/sci-fi blend look. Hope you didn’t turn all your Trophy Crystals into Wolf Marks!
  • The Felicitous Tunic set from Island Sanctuary, with each piece being 3,000 Seafarer’s Cowries each.
  • The Recreationisle set from completing the new Island Sanctuary quest ‘The Sweetest Thing’, which allows you to finally let your character look like a dad at a golf course.
  • There’s also the new Island Headdress and Minmisle Top Hat, both presumably from somewhere in Island Sanctuary.
  • The Martial Artist’s set, with a sleeveless and sleeve variant, available from the 90 treasure map material Athletikos Cloth.
  • The Gleaner’s attire is finally available! It’s from completing the latest Custom Deliveries.

Mounts and minions

The new mounts are as follows:

  • Island Adenium Whistle: Another Mandragora species, purchased for 200 Vegetal Vouchers in Island Sanctuary.
  • Island Peerifool Whistle: You’ll recognize this Mandragora species if you did Bozja content.
  • Garlond GL-IIT: Do you want another Garlean bike from Island Sanctuary? Prepare to save up 100,000 Seafarer’s Cowries.
  • Sabotender de la Luna: Resembles the Lunatenders on Mare Lamentorum. Available for 600 Faux Leaves.
  • Lynx of Abyssal Grief: The final Extreme trial mount for Endwalker.
  • Apocryphal Bahamut: Obtained from the side quest ‘Wings of Hope’ from Singingway in Old Sharlayan after completing 6.5 Main Scenario and having all the Lynx mounts. Yes, collecting the cats give you another dragon.

And the minions:

  • Vicarious Vacationer: Available from Island Sanctuary for 4,000 Seafarer’s Cowries.
  • Kyodonia Strolls: 400 Faux Leaves.
  • Wind-up Oschon: Drops from the end of Thaleia.
  • Tourmaline Weapon: Obtained from PvP series rank 15.
  • Wind-up Golbez: Drop from The Lunar Subterrane.

All new items in FFXIV Patch 6.5: Miscellaneous

There is a single new Fashion Accessory, the Colorful Carrotsol, a parasol available from Island Sanctuary for 6,000 Seafarer’s Cowries. And one single new Emote, Ballroom Etiquette – Defeatist Attitude, granting you /slump, from PvP series level 5. It’s the same emote Ysayle made when she found out she wasn’t Shiva in Heavensward.

Triple Triad

Ten new Triple Triad cards were added in total:

  • A card for the new Trial boss, presumably dropping from said duty.
  • Another card for a 6.5 character.
  • A card for the new Alliance Raid boss, dropping at the end of Thaleia.
  • Oschon, available for purchase from the Gold Saucer’s Triple Triad Traders.
  • Llymaen, reward for beating Maillart in Old Sharlayan
  • Thaliak, ditto.
  • Halone, available for purchase from the Gold Saucer’s Triple Triad Traders. Say hi to all the Ishgardian player characters.
  • Nymeia, Althyk, and Nophica are all rewards for beating Ylaire in Old Gridania.

All new items in FFXIV Patch 6.5: Orchestrion Rolls

An entire 22 were added:

  • From Fear to Fortitude: Available from subaquatic voyages.
  • Pennons Aloft: From subaquatic voyages.
  • Myths of the Realm: Available from Thaleia.
  • Course Uncharted: Available from Thaleia.
  • Fair Winds to Guide: Available from Thaleia.
  • One among Wonders: Gifted for completing the Alliance Raid questline.
  • Kingdom of Baron: From the Lunar Subterrane.
  • The Red Wings (Endwalker): Obtained from the new Extreme Trial.
  • Final Fantasy IV: The Final Battle: Made from faded copies dropped in the new Extreme Trial.
  • The rest are an album of remixes not yet released on the Mog Station.

Framer Kits

A surprising amount of Framer Kits were added:

  • Fantastic Faux Framer’s Kit: 600 Faux Leaves.
  • Wondrous Whimsy Framer’s Kit: 2 Khloe’s Silver Certificate of Commendation
  • Moogle, Vath, and Vanu Vanu Framer Kits, each available from their respective Beast Tribe for six of the unique currency.
  • Twelvefold Blessings Framer Kit: A reward for completing the Alliance Raid questline.
  • Palaistra and Cloud Nine Framer Kits: The level 10 and 20 PvP series reward respectively.

Fishing

There are several new fish you can catch:

  • Starglit Lobster: Ultima Thule, Apohelos 18-a. Requires the Sea of Stars fishing folklore book.
  • E.B.E.-852738: Ultima Thule, Limne 3-β. Requires the Sea of Stars fishing folklore book.
  • Starscale Ephemeris: Ultima Thule, Abode of the Ea. Requires the Sea of Stars fishing folklore book.
  • Chlorophos Deathworm: Mare Lamentorum, the Chlorophospond. Requires the Sea of Stars fishing folklore book.
  • Mayaman: Thavnair, The Font of Maya. Requires the Illsabard and the Northern Empty fishing folklore book.
  • Durdina Fish: Thavnair, The Thavnairian Coast. Requires the Illsabard and the Northern Empty fishing folklore book.
  • Circuit Tilapia: Labyrinthos, Deepmoat. Requires the Illsabard and the Northern Empty fishing folklore book.
  • Five more related to the new Custom Deliveries.
