Steven Masters, the lead game designer of the upcoming Assassin’s Creed III, revealed at Gamescon that AC3 will have between 20-25 hours of game play. However, the time will vary based on which side quests the player decides to do. Additionally, out of  the 25 hours, approximately 2.5 are spent on naval battles.
