Assassin's Creed Valhalla Yuletide

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Yuletide event is here with new update

Keep those chestnuts roasting.

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla‘s Yuletide event was originally scheduled to start in mid-December of last year and last until the end of December. Unfortunately, for all the fans of Ubisoft’s open-world Viking adventure, a bug stopped that from happening. Thankfully, though, the latest update for the game also fixed the Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Yuletide bug.

The official Assassin’s Creed Twitter page tweeted out the update, and it went live on January 6. It should be available for anyone who boots the game up by the time you’re reading this. To make up for the delay, the Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Yuletide event will now last until January 27.

Ubisoft has been consistent with support for Valhalla, keeping people invested by providing lots of new content. The game is already massive, but it has seen even more story additions for those who complete the main game. There was a crossover event with Assassin’s Creed Valhalla and Assassin’s Creed Odyssey that was chock full of fan service. The crossover actually starts as DLC for Odyssey, and the second part concludes the story in Valhalla. Before you ask, no, I don’t know if that makes sense historically speaking. But this is Assassin’s Creed we are talking about. If you’re worried about that, you’re kind of missing the point.

Ragnarok is coming, as it often tends to do

The next big expansion for the game is called Dawn of Ragnarok and clocks in at a whopping 35 hours. Ubisoft’s Sofia studio, the  team behind the criminally underrated Assassin’s Creed Rogue, is handling this next expansion. Dawn of Ragnarok drops on March 10. You can pick up Assassin’s Creed Valhalla now on the game’s official site for either UPlay or the Epic Games Store. Sorry Steam users, as there are still no plans to Viking it up on Valve’s platform.
