Baldur’s Gate 3 player collected all Divinity: Original Sin 2 Easter Egg portraits

Sneaky move, Larian.

Did you know that there are Easter Eggs about Larian Studios’ other games in Baldur’s Gate 3? I didn’t! One BG3 player collected all the Divinity: Original Sin 2 Easter Egg portraits.

In a Reddit post shared on the BG3 subreddit, this user displayed their new collection of D:OS 2 portraits. If you’re a fan of that game, you may want to check them out for yourself.

A BG3 player found all Easter Egg portraits featuring Divinity: Original Sin 2 characters

If you thought you knew everything about BG3, you probably don’t, as this is also news to me. One BG3 player on Reddit showed off their newly collected Divinity: Original Sin 2 Easter Egg portraits. Featuring the six iconic main characters.

User “PectoManiac” explained how they’re a hoarder and decided to find and collect all the paintings. The toughest to find was Beast, but finding Sebille was pure luck. Larian Studios hid these paintings well, and if you didn’t look close enough, you would never know what they were. Just goes to show that this game is so big that, of course, players will always find something most do not.

Players in the replies were questioning how they stored these beautiful paintings, and they said that currently, the paintings are sitting in their camp chest. This is because they aren’t sure that the paintings will stick around if they leave them out in the open in camp.

In the photo from left to right, you should spot Beast, Ifan Ben-Mezd, Fane, Lohse, Sebille, and Red Prince. Larian Studios seems to enjoy planting little Easter Eggs across Baldur’s Gate 3 to remind players of their beloved D:OS 2. Another Easter Egg you may already know about is the one where using Bard instruments will play a song from D:OS 2.

There are probably more Easter Eggs that players have yet to find or talk about publically. The game was released nearly six months ago and players are still discussing new findings online. Speaking of finding new things, have you heard about this crucial note about the Absolute that most players have yet to find?
