Batman: Arkham Asylum Delay Confirmed

Following rumours that Batman Batman: Arkham Asylum has been delayed, Eidos has officialy released an update on the status of the game.Eidos has confirmed via a press statement this evening that the new Batman game has been delayed until late summer. Eidos state:“Eidos Interactive and Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment can today confirm that Batman: Arkham Asylum will be released at the end of summer 2009. This additional time will allow us to ensure Batman: Arkham Asylum is of the highest quality for gamers.”As the game will not be ready for retail and make the scheduled early summer release, we can now safely assume that the game’s release in the UK will also be the end of summer.
