Twin Peaks television box set

There’s no better way to end a binge session of Alan Wake than to proceed with another binge of the critically acclaimed TV series Twin Peaks. Alan Wake is heavily inspired by Twin Peaks and it shows. Both of them are set in a small idyllic town that hides something mysterious beneath its surface and they both give the same weird suspenseful vibe. Fans of the game will truly appreciate the parallels and with the complete TV collection box set, you can own all the episodes of the original series and A Limited Event Series, which is the later released season 3 that is set in modern times.

Bright Falls scented candle pack

The Bright Falls scented candle pack is one of Remedy’s own offerings, coming from their flagship merch store. They are the team behind Alan Wake and it seems they’ve been working hard to create an accurate representation of the fragrance of the Pacific Northwest in the fall. The pack comes with two candles called Last Days Of Summer and Harvest Moon. While I haven’t tested them myself, Last Days of Summer is marketed as having a floral heather scent and Harvest Moon is fruitier, smelling like red berries.

The Secret Diary of Laura Palmer book

Everyone often gets a case of the blues after finishing their favorite game for the first time. You end up searching for more entries to the series or something that’s in the same genre.

That’s why I recommend gifting the book “The Secret Diary of Laura Palmer” as a remedy for those who’ve reached the end of Alan Wake’s saga. It’s a spin-off novel of the aforementioned hit TV series Twin Peaks and is based on the point of view of one of the show’s central characters. It has the same mystery vibes of the show and reached the New York Times bestseller list when it was released though fair warning, due to its graphic content, it’s a gift best suited for mature audiences.

Alan Wake novel

The mysterious thriller and suspenseful atmosphere in Alan Wake just leave you yearning for more. Thankfully there is a whole book, called Alan Wake, available that’s entirely based on the events of the video game series. The book is a novelization of the events of the first game, so if your special someone has already played Alan Wake 1 you don’t necessarily need the book. But if they’re a big fan of the series or have only played Alan Wake 2, then I’d say this would be a perfect gift for them.

Old Gods of Asgard T-shirt

Show off your favorite fictional band with this custom-printed Old Gods of Asgard T-shirt. There are many pieces of custom clothing for Alan Wake on sites like Redbubble but this one takes the cake. For one, it has a lot of significance to Alan Wake as the band is featured very prominently throughout the game and second, it feels like a piece of clothing that would actually be available canonically in the Alan Wake universe.

Alan’s tweed jacket

This tweed jacket on Amazon bears a remarkable resemblance to the now iconic jacket that Alan Wake wears throughout the game. It’s one of the few jackets I found online that resemble Alan’s jacket the most, though there’s a separate jacket from Aran also which includes the elbow patches. It’s not only a perfect gift for that cosplay lover or as a playful jab towards any long-haired gentlemen you know, but it can also be worn as part of a normal winter outfit.

Deerfest Coffee Mug

The Bright Falls annual Deerfest is the climatic event that takes place at the end of Alan Wake 2’s story and is referred to several times from the beginning. Both the inhabitants of Bright Falls and the game itself have some purposefully weird obsession with deer, and this mug is a perfect remembrance of that uncanniness.

Departure Manuscript Replica

Departure By Alan Wake Cover

A nice piece of memorabilia you can pick up on Etsy is this 63-page entire manuscript of Departure written faithfully in typewriter font. Departure is the name of an incomplete book, pages of which you pick up while you play Alan Wake which bear a lot of significance as parts of the book narrate events of the story before they even happen. It’s all very meta and twisted but the gist of it is that it’s a fun nod to the game and the receiver will appreciate the unique gift.
