Best builds to win Pantheon in Destiny 2: Warlock, Titan, and Hunter

Pummel through Pantheon.

Destiny 2 Pantheon is, sadly, a limited-time game mode that puts you and your Fireteam up against a series of Raid bosses. These are the hardest bosses in the game, and you’re fighting them back to back, so you’ll need the best Warlock, Titan, and Hunter Destiny 2 builds to clear Pantheon.

How to make an OP build for Pantheon in Destiny 2

The key to winning Pantheon in Destiny 2 is to follow the same principles you need to create a great Grandmaster Nightfall build or Dungeon/Raid build. You need a solid DPS build with good survivability and strong add-clear weapons. Before we dive into each build, here are the weapons and subclass verbs I recommend you focus your Pantheon build around:

  • Legendary Weapons
    • Sword, Linear Fusion Rifle, Rocket Launcher for damage phases
    • Anything with Voltshot, Firefly, Dragonfly, Incandescent, Kinetic Tremors, Destabilizing Rounds, or Hatchling for add-clear
  • Exotic Weapons
    • Tractor Cannon, Gjallarhorn, Divinity, Lament, Whisper of the Worm, Dragon’s Breath for damage phases
    • Witherhoard, Osteo Striga for add-clear
  • Subclass verbs
    • Restoration, Cure, Woven Mail, Devour, Invisibility, Void Overshield, Weaken. With these subclass verbs in mind, you can see that the best subclasses for endgame content, including Pantheon, are Solar, Void, and Strand.

Best Warlock Pantheon build in Destiny 2

Destiny 2 Best Solar Warlock Build Pantheon

As a Warlock main, I know we’re all sick of playing Solar Warlock with a focus on Well of Radiance. Solar Warlock is quite simply the best build for Pantheon because Well of Radiance is necessary to allow your team to stay alive and deal high damage during damage phases.

If you want to focus on add clearing, go with a build centered around Sunbracers. I recommend crafting your build around Phoenix Protocol since Well of Radiance is that necessary. You’ll always have Restoration, Cure, and Radiant by consuming your Healing Grenade and using your Celestial Fire melee. Here’s how to make the best Warlock Pantheon build in Destiny 2:

  • Abilities
    • Super â€“ Well of Radiance
    • Class Ability â€“ Phoenix Dive
    • Jump â€“ Burst Glide
    • Melee â€“ Celestial Fire
    • Grenade â€“ Healing Grenade
  • Aspects
    • Touch of Flame â€“ Your Healing Grenade has improved strength to Cure and Restoration effects.
    • Heat Rises â€“ You can fire weapons, melee, and throw grenades while gliding. Consume your grenade to gain Heat Rising and release a burst of healing that Cures you and nearby allies. The strength of the burst is increased when it’s a Healing Grenade. Final blows while airborne increase the duration of Heat Rises and grant melee energy.
  • Fragments
    • Ember of Benevolence â€“ Applying Restoration, Cure, or Radiant to allies grants increased grenade, melee, and class ability regeneration for a short duration. -10 Discipline.
    • Ember of Char â€“ Your Solar Ignitions spread Scorch to affected targets. +10 Discipline.
    • Ember of Torches â€“ Powered melee attacks against combatants make you and nearby allies Radiant. -10 Discipline.
    • Ember of Empyrean â€“ Solar weapon or ability final blows extend the duration of Restoration and Radiant effects applied to you. -10 Resilience.
  • Exotic Armor
    • Phoenix Protocol â€“ Kills and assists while standing in your Well of Radiance return Super energy.
  • Weapons
    • Polaris Lance, Sunshot, or any Solar weapon with Incandescent.
  • Armor Mods
    • Helmet â€“ One Solar Siphon, one Dynamo, one Heavy Ammo Finder.
    • Arms â€“ One Solar Loader, one Impact Induction, one Focusing Strike.

The Banner of War Strand Titan dominates in Pantheon. The goal is to constantly have your charged melee deal high damage to the boss and adds which procs Banner of War for constant healing. With Wormgod Caress and the Bladefury Super, you’ll demolish bosses in no time.

The key to making this build sing is to have high Strength to get your charged melee back fast. Also, you’ll want to create Tangles and Orbs of Power as fast and as often as possible to always have Woven Mail which will help keep you alive. Here’s how to build the best Titan build for Pantheon in Destiny 2:

  • Abilities
    • Super â€“ Bladefury
    • Class Ability â€“ Rally Barricade
    • Jump â€“ Catapult Lift
    • Melee â€“ Frenzied Blade

    • Banner of War â€“ Defeat a target with a melee attack, finisher, or Sword to raise a Banner of War that pulses with energy, periodically healing nearby allies and increasing melee and Sword damage. Targets defeated by you and nearby allies charge the banner, increasing the speed of its pulses.
  • Fragments
    • Thread of Warding – Picking up an Orb of Power grants Woven Mail. -10 Resilience.
    • Thread of Transmutation – While you have Woven Mail, weapon final blows create a Tangle. +10 Strength.

Last but not least, the Void Hunter build excels in Pantheon. This build works great in Onslaught, too, but it shines in Pantheon because you constantly have Invisibility, Void Overshield, Devour, and Volatile Rounds — a killer cocktail to tear through adds and bosses.

The playstyle with this Void Hunter build is to use your Dodge to go invisible. Use your melee to get Volatile Rounds and obliterate enemies to get Void Breaches. Pick up Void Breaches to get Devour and Void Overshield. Then, rinse and repeat. Use your Super to trap adds and the boss. Here’s how to make the best Hunter Pantheon build in Destiny 2:

  • Abilities
    • Super â€“ Shadowshot: Deadfall
    • Class Ability â€“ Marksman’s Dodge
    • Jump â€“ Triple Jump
    • Melee â€“ Snare Bomb
    • Grenade â€“ Vortex Grenade
  • Aspects
    • Vanishing Step â€“ Dodging makes you invisible.
    • Stylish Executioner â€“ Defeating a weakened, suppressed, or volatile target grants Invisibility and Truesight. After performing a Stylish Execution, your next melee attack while Invisible weakens targets.
  • Fragments
    • Echo of Cessation â€“ Finisher final blows create a burst of Void damage that causes nearby combatants to become Volatile. Defeating Volatile targets creates a Void Breach.
    • Echo of Undermining â€“ Your Void grenades Weaken targets.
    • Echo of Persistence â€“ Void buffs applied to your (Invisibility, Overshield, Devour) have increased duration.
    • Echo of Starvation â€“ Picking up a Void Breach or an Orb of Power grants Devour.
