Teased in 2022, Offworld Industries announced its co-op squad-based shooter set in the cult classic Starship Troopers universe: Starship Troopers: Extermination. This shooter will have you and other players jump onto a planet, and fight a large number of arachnid aliens. Like most tactical shooters that feature classes or heroes, this game goes with the class route. There are three you can pick from: Hunter, Bastion, and Operator. Each offers something unique to the squad that can help them overcome the odds. Depending on which of the three you pick, the game may go down smoothly or be an overwhelming experience. Starship Troopers: Extermination: The best class
Based on what players are using it seems that out of the three, the most popular one is the Bastion class. This can be drawn to the fact that it’s a highly aggressive class, a lot more than the other options. The Hunter and the Operator both work in a specific playstyle. The Hunter is a quick, and fast-firing class, and the Operator can heal and offer resources. The Bastion, however, is more of a general class that performs well in different areas.
If you pick the Bastion, you’re going to be fighting on the frontline, but because of the class’s durability, you can do a lot more. Upgrading takes the best of what this class has and makes it better, so you could make a hard-to-kill character. On the defensive end, you can take on the hordes easier as well since you can mount and defend a position better with the Bastion.
Being centered around defense, Bastion can drop a shield down, which becomes crucial when things aren’t going your way. While the other classes may be a variable, Bastion is one that you should have on your team. When things get too dicey, the Bastion can clean out the hordes in no time.
