Best Iso 9MM Build for Warzone 2 DMZ

Another monster SMG enters the fray

It seems like whenever a weapon has ‘Iso’ in its name, it is going to be a real treat to use. The Iso Hemlock was a dominating force in the Assault Rifle category for ages. The Iso 45 remains a powerful option for SMG’s. Looking to continue this naming trend is the Iso 9MM, and oh boy, does it deliver! The Iso 9mm has a ludicrous fire rate and doesn’t concern itself with pesky things like recoil. You need to try this gun, so let me show you the best Iso 9MM Build for Warzone 2 DMZ.

In Call of Duty, most weapons have a strength but then a weakness players must work around. With the Iso 9MM, it feels like they forgot about that last part. This SMG has one of the fastest rates of fire in the entire game but has bizarrely low recoil to manage. This profile gives some excellent build flexibility, but here are the attachments I recommend:

Best Iso 9MM attachments

  • Barrel: 9″ PTX Trainer
  • Underbarrel: Commando Foregrip
  • Muzzle: XRK Sandstorm
  • Laser: VLK LZR 7MW
  • Magazine: 50 Round Drum

Iso 9mm attachments explained

If the Iso 9mm has any weakness, it’s Damage Range. Fortunately, we can increase this with the 9″ PTX Trainer Barrel. This attachment also gives us increased Hipfire Accuracy and Movement Speed. In other words, top-tier perks for close-range combat. The 9″ PTX Trainer allows us to add an Underbarrel Attachment too, which we use to our full advantage.

With our new slot for the Underbarrel, we can add the Commando Foregrip. This attachment grants buffs to Aim Idle Stability and Recoil Stabilization without a massive penalty to our ADS Speed.

The XRK Sandstorm makes what little recoil we have even more manageable, substantially increasing our Vertical Recoil control. The improved recoil means we can ‘barrel stuff’ our opponents up close and track them if we’re engaged at longer ranges.

I recommend the VLK LZR 7MW laser in multiple builds as it grants a hefty bonus to our ADS Speed, Aim Stability, and Sprint-to-Fire speed. The caveat is the laser is visible when we ADS. If the visible laser is an issue, you can pick something like the 1MW Quick Fire Laser. The bonuses are less impactful, but the laser beam is invisible.

Our final attachment is a no-brainer, but the 50 Round Drum is essential on the Iso 9mm. With its ridiculous rate of fire, the Iso 9mm spends bullets like they are going out of fashion. Even 50 rounds don’t last long, but it’s much better than the default and allows you to spray down multiple opponents.

The Iso 9mm is a powerful weapon that doesn’t take many attachments to excel. The 50 Round Drum is mandatory, but you can play around with the rest and have a great time.
