Bethesda: Fallout 3 Will Be Dark And Mature

Bethesda has told fans of the Fallout franchise they can expect “harshness and maturity” from the upcoming Fallout 3.Responding to fan questions on the developer’s forums, Bethesda’s Todd Howard stressed the tone of Fallout 3 will be in keeping with previous games in the franchise. “I think if you look at Fallout 1,” said Howard “Fallout 3 is pretty much the same”.Howard also addressed concerns about the role of children in the game. “You will not be able to be a child killer. There are several reasons for this, some of them are very basic, like we wouldn’t be able to sell the game, anywhere to anyone, if the children could be killed.”Quite right too. Hear that Jack? No child killings.
