According to new reports, Nintendo has increased its support for the Wii, the bad new is that development for the DS has been scaled down.
This follows news that Japanese developers are raising concerns regarding the ongoing success of Nintendo’s handheld.
However, it’s all looking good for the Wii, as Nintendo boss, Jinyou Mori announced plans to expand the console’s internal development teams.
In addition, Gamefront reports that Nintendo aims to produce 1.8 million Wii consoles a month to keep up with demand.
More Wiis can only be a good thing, but DS fans may be a little perturbed by the shift in focus.
