Blizzard has posted a new job opening on their website for an Art Director to work on Diablo 3.Over the past few weeks there has been much discussion and ‘controversy’ regarding the art direction of Blizzard’s action RPG sequel Diablo 3. The community had petitioned Blizzard to make the game ‘darker’ like the previous titles.In a recent interview, Lead Producer Jay Wilson had stated that there would not be any changes made to the game’s art direction and demonstrated why the current direction for the game was the right one, despite the community putting forward samples on how they think game should look.However, there may be something afoot at Blizzard due to this new job posting for Art Director. Brian Morrisoe was in charge of the game’s art direction and took part in the Diablo 3 panels at the WWI event in Paris a few weeks ago and it is unclear whether he is still involved with the project.Blizzard are yet to comment on the job position but we’ll be following that up as soon as possible.Thanks Diii.Net.
