The launch of Call of Duty: Vanguard took fans of the franchise back to World War II. Since the game rolled out, it has not been short on content. Most recently, the Secrets of the Pacific event began, which allows you to learn about the new Warzone map through completing a set of in-game challenges. Speaking of challenges, shotguns have cemented themselves as the most overpowered weapons in multiplayer. The Gracey Auto shotgun is no different and by taking advantage of all ten attachment slots, you can make a class that is even more powerful in Vanguard.

The Gracey Auto is able to hold its own on the battlefield. As the weapon thrives when getting up close and personal with your opponents, the gun is suited to smaller maps like Shipment, as well as Das Haus, among others. This class will focus on improving the firepower of the weapon to make your bullets even more deadly. At the same time, accuracy will be taken into account to make using the gun much easier.

Call of Duty: Vanguard Gracey Auto shotgun class

  • Muzzle: G28 Compensator
  • Stock: CGC H4
  • Barrel: CGC 22” Rapid
  • Underbarrel: SMLE Pistol Grip
  • Rear Grip: Fabric Grip
  • Proficiency: Gung-ho
  • Magazine: 12 Gauge 7 Round Mags
  • Kit: Fully Loaded
  • Ammo Type: Slug
  • Optic: MK.8 Reflector

To begin, the G28 Compensator will provide you with a boost to your recoil control. Also, the CGC H4 Stock will significantly improve your aiming stability, recoil control, accuracy, and flinch resistance. This is useful when paired with the CGC 22” Rapid Barrel. This attachment increases your fire rate, at the cost of hitting your handling. However, the Barrel will make your shotgun hit much harder.

Next, The SMLE Pistol Grip will make up for some lost speed by increasing your sprint to fire speed, while allowing you to experience better hip fire accuracy. Another useful attachment is the Fabric Grip which focuses on making your aim down sight speed and sprint to fire speed faster, and providing you with better hip fire recoil recovery. Equipping the Gung-ho Proficiency will allow you to fire while sprinting, so you can run and gun with your shotgun.

One shot, one kill potential

In terms of a magazine, the 12 Gauge 7 Round Mags attachment is viable for reload quickness and gaining a higher magazine ammunition capacity. In addition, the Fully Loaded Kit will grant you the maximum starting ammo, so you can take out multiple enemies without running low on bullets. To ensure your bullets really pack a punch, the Slug Ammo Type will turn your bullets into a single shot with high stopping power.

To complete your Vanguard Gracey Auto class, the MK.8 Reflector is a strong choice for an Optic. You may find that using an Optic feels unnatural on a shotgun class. However, the frameless sight has 1.35x magnification which can prove useful for your accuracy when you are taking out enemies. Although the Combat Shotgun remains one of the most popular choices in the shotgun category, do not underestimate the Gracey Auto.
