Show off your new Type 11 setup.

The launch of Call of Duty: Vanguard took us back to the Second World War era. There is a new campaign, multiplayer experience, and the continuation of the dark aether story in Zombies. Whether you prefer to use a submachine gun or a light machine gun across these modes, there is something to suit everyone’s play style. One option for LMG fans is the Type 11 and you can make a powerful class in Vanguard by making the most of all ten attachment slots.

The Type 11 already wields a significant amount of mobility. Perhaps, this makes it one of the most versatile weapons in the light machine gun category. You will find yourself being able to challenge players at close range, and at greater distances. This class will focus on improving the accuracy of the weapon by minimising recoil. As this gun is the most manoeuvrable light machine gun, it can be used on a range of maps. From the ruins of Oasis to the closer-quarter engagements in Hotel Royal, running and gunning is definitely a possibility with this weapon.

Call of Duty: Vanguard Type 11 class

  • Muzzle: Iscove Flash Hider
  • Barrel: Sakura 487mm Shrouded
  • Underbarrel: Heavy Foregrip
  • Rear Grip: Stippled Grip
  • Ammo Type: Lengthened
  • Magazine: 6.5mm Sakura 90 Round Drums
  • Stock: Shiraishi Skeletal
  • Proficiency: Sleight of Hand
  • Kit: Fully Loaded
  • Optic: Slate Reflector

The first attachment you should equip is the Iscove Flash Hider Muzzle. By doing so, you will experience more muzzle flash concealment and recoil control. In addition, the Sakura 487mm Shrouded Barrel provides your light machine gun with numerous benefits. It will make your gun highly accurate and controllable, reduce your scope sway and weapon bob, and your damage will not fall off with range. This is a valuable option in ensuring your Type 11 is a strong contender at those medium to longer ranges. Also, to carry on increasing the accuracy, the Heavy Foregrip improves the the aiming stability, recoil recovery and aim walking steadiness. Reinforcing this with Stippled Grip will improve your recoil recovery and initial accuracy and recoil, making centering your weapon easier.

When choosing your Ammo Type, Lengthened will add to the overall strength of your weapon, with 30% more bullet velocity. In terms of a Magazine, the 6.5mm Sakura 90 Round Drums is the best option to maximise your ammunition capacity, without significant detriments.

Not your typical light machine gun

Next, the Shiraishi Skeletal Stock will boost your hip fire accuracy, sprint to fire speed, and flinch resistance. As light machine guns tend to have a slower reload speed, Sleight of Hand Proficiency is useful in combatting this. Pairing this with the Fully Loaded Kit will grant you an extra magazine, so you will have plenty of bullets to take out even more enemies.

Finally, the Slate Reflector is a viable Optic to complete your Vanguard Type 11 class. The clear sight will make taking out enemies, particularly at medium to longer ranges, a simpler task. This well-rounded light machine gun will help take you to the top of the lobby leaderboard.
