A lot of Pokémon variations are already in place across Paldea. Can you breed Hisuian Pokémon in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet? Let us find out.
Pokémon Scarlet and Violet: Can you breed Hisuian Pokémon?
Breeding in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet can get a bit messy and confusing if we add several variations to the mix. In this case, Hisuian Pokémon — that is, Pokémon that come from Hisui, the region of Pokémon: Arceus — are slightly present in Scarlet and Violet, and while you can certainly evolve them using stones and overall leveling up, the big question is whether you can breed Hisuian Pokémon during the famous Picnic sequences. Well, it appears to be the case, but you will need to collect some stuff before a Hisuian Pokémon breeding venture.
Just to make things clear, we are using the method in which you can breed a Hisuian Zorua from a Hisuian Zoroark, which can be applied to Hisuian Pokémon in general. You will need a couple of things:

- An Everstone. You can potentially pick it up during your travels, but it is best obtained at Delibird Presents Stores for a total of 3,000 Pokémon dollars.
- A Sandwich with Egg Power. Any sandwich that increases the chance of an Egg appearing on your basket will be extremely beneficial to the breeding process. Here are some recipes you can try:
- Jam Sandwich (Egg Power Level 1) – Strawberry, Jam.
- Marmalade Sandwich (Egg Power Level 1) – Cheese, Marmalade.
- Great Peanut Butter Sandwich (Egg Power Level 2) – Banana, Peanut Butter, Butter.
- Ultra Pickle Sandwich (Egg Power Level 2) – Pickle, Watercress, Basil, Olive Oil.
- The Hisuian breeding Pokémon.
- A Ditto or an opposite-gender Paldean Pokémon. You can find Ditto at West Province (Area Two and Three). Target lock on Pokémon you find so that you can identify a Ditto that is already transformed.
Give the Everstone to the Hisuian breeding Pokémon and have the Ditto or opposite-gender Paldean Pokémon in your team as well. If all things go well — and your Egg Power bonus works — then you will see an Egg appear in your basket.
