CryEngine 3 Reveals the Most Realistic Damage Model Ever Made

Would you pay money just to have a super realistic crash-dummy simulation? Crytek would never release such a simulation without an accompanying game for it to reside in, but looking at this latest video of the CryEngine 3, I would pay good money to drive around in that environment and see just how many ways I can destroy my truck.

Crytek’s new Beam physics system uses soft-body physics to portray physics with stunning real-world accuracy. Cars, boats, planes – you name it, it can be demolished in hundreds of different ways.
