Cyberpunk 2077: Best Handgun perks

Handguns are some of the most versatile weapons in Cyberpunk 2077. And they come in all sorts of flavors. You’ve got standard pistols, revolvers, and burst-fire handguns. All of these can be optimized for specific playstyles too. Stick a suppressor onto a great Handgun and you’re good to do some stealth. Or apply some damage-boosting modifications to a revolver to deal a ton of pain. But let’s generally cover the best Handgun perks you can get.

To find Handgun perks, you need to look over to the Cool skill tree. On the left side branch, we’ll find all the perks that focus on Handguns in Cyberpunk 2077. The first perk to unlock on this tree is Focus, which increases headshot damage and unlocks the Focus mode. This mode activates when you aim down the sights with full stamina. And shooting while it’s active won’t drain your stamina at all. To accompany this, you can get Pull!, which makes shooting grenades out of the air much easier during Focus. Honestly, this perk won’t get much use, but when the opportunity arises, you’ll be so glad to have it. You should also get Deep Breath, which slows time by 25% while Focus is active.

The next core perk is Deadeye and this increases your headshot and weak spot damage by 20% when you’ve got more than 85% stamina. It also eliminates bullet spread, so you’ve got an easier time dialing in those precision shots. Deadeye is a passive ability that kicks in on its own. And that’s useful since you’ll get its benefits without even thinking about it. California Reaper is also an amazing perk to pair with Deadeye since it lets headshots restore 30% of your stamina.

At the top of the tree, you get to invest points into two skills. Nerves of Tungsten-Steel is geared towards Revolvers, Precision Rifles, and Sniper Rifles and guarantees critical hits for headshots. Then there’s Run ‘N’ Gun, which lets you shoot pistols from the hip without consuming stamina. Plus, when Focus is active, you gain +25% to your movement speed. You can get both of these Handgun perks if you want, and they’re both deadly additions to your arsenal in Cyberpunk 2077.
