Bandai Namco will offer a 50% loyalty discount to anyone who already has the game in their Steam library which makes purchasing it again slightly more palatable.

With this newly remastered version incoming, the Dark Souls: Prepare to Die Edition will no longer be purchasable from 9 May. If you own it already then you can still play the original even though its removed from Steam.

Dark Souls Remastered launches on 29 May.
