Darksiders dev planning on making a FPS?

Vigil Games, the developer behind the Darksiders series and former-MMO Warhammer 40K: Dark Millennium, is advertising for a new senior gameplay programmer.

That’s not really all that fascinating, other than the fact that the preferred candidate will have “previously held a senior programing position on at least one shipped AAA console or PC title (preferably an FPS)”.

Another listing for a principal designer would like the candidate to be “an avid FPS gamer with a strong interest in pushing the genre forward creatively”.

It seems, then, that Vigil is currently (or soon to be) working on a FPS and that it’ll probably launch on the console and the PC. Vigil are based in Austin, Texas, if you’re interesting in applying.
