Destiny 2: Beyond Light brings Guardians to Europa. But, maybe Fridays would bring you back to other locations since that coincides with the arrival of Xur, the Emissary of the Nine. Ol’ Tentacle Face is back with his wares. Here’s our mini-guide to help you out.

Destiny 2: Beyond Light – Where is Xur this week?
Xur can be found in the Tower hangar just chilling where all the other ships are. You can see the actual spot in the map below.
As for his items for the first week of Destiny 2: Beyond Light, he’s got the following:
- Weapon: Lord of Wolves – A shotgun that fires a burst of Solar energy.
- Hunter chest: Raiden Flux – Chaining your Arc Staff super hits increase damage and duration.
- Titan gloves: Aeon Flux – Your melee grants energy to other players who have Aeon-type exotics equipped.
- Warlock chest: Chromatic Fire – Kinetic precision kills cause elemental explosions when you’re using a Light subclass.
The weapon costs 29 legendary shards and is one of the coolest shotguns in Destiny 2 (when it was bugged). As for the exotic armors, they all cost 23 legendary shards. The Raiden Flux is the most useful one here, especially if there are objectives that require you to use the Arc subclass. Chromatic Fire can be nifty as well, though remember that the explosions won’t proc when you have Stasis equipped. As for Aeon Flux (as with most Aeon-type exotics), you should just ignore it.
Xur also sells an exotic engram for 97 legendary shards. This can turn into any exotic, prioritizing the ones you don’t have yet from previous seasons. If you already have everything, then there’s no point in getting it.
Lastly, he’s also got an Exotic Cipher. At first, this is just a quest where you need to to complete various playlist activities. When you’re done, it turns into an Exotic Cipher that you can exchange via the Memory to Lost Lights near the Tower vaults. You’ll be able to grab an exotic that’s available there.
