Destiny Sells 7 Million Copies

Destiny has now sold 7.14 million copies, reports Activision.

Activision earlier revealed the game made $ 325 million in its first five days, and topped five million units in its first to weeks, giving it the biggest opening for a new IP.

PlayStation 4 users comprise the majority with 3.48 million units sold, followed by Xbox One with 1.90 million units.

Earlier reports claimed that the game had a marketing budget of $ 500 million, but that was debunked by Activision immediately.
