Microsoft has denied rumors that they have picked up Tomonobu Itagaki’s upcoming third person action game Devil’s Third. This, while Itagaki himself unveils the game’s new logo and announces a release this year.

The Microsoft statement comes to us from IGN’s Ryan McCaffrey, who was nice enough to tweet this:
Not sure if this is news but in my @XboxP3 interview last week Phil confirmed to me that MS did NOT pick up the rights to Devil’s Third.
