Disney Drops Claim On ‘Star Wars 1313’

After acquiring LucasArts wholesale as part of LucasFilm’s properties, and closing the studios to license their properties out to 3rd parties, Disney has allowed the copyright on ‘Star Wars 1313’ to expire.

Obviously, by virtue of having the words Star Wars in it, it’s doubtful any other party will pick it up, but it’s a clear sign that Disney, as well as its current Star Wars licensee, EA, has any interest in picking up and finishing the project.
