Never get lost in Elden Ring with this handy interactive map

Some extra guidance never hurt anyone.

Elden Ring is a huge game that is redefining what it means to be open world. Having such a massive world to explore is a great thing for gamers, as it gives us plenty to do. However, that comes at the cost of accessibilit,y and some players may find the experience overwhelming. This map has been put together by Map Genie, a site that is well known for doing these kinds of things. It previously covered a wide range of open-world titles, including New World, Grand Theft Auto V, and Lost Ark. Elden Ring is the latest open-world game to receive this treatment, although the development of the map is still a work in progress.

The interactive map displays a variety of locations in Elden Ring. Dungeons, landmarks, and just about every other notable spot make an appearance. Furthermore, the map shows the location of key items, NPCs, enemies, and materials, making it fantastic for general intel.

Users with an account can also mark custom locations just in case something of interest to you isn’t already on the map. There’s even a paid Pro membership option that removes ads, allows the sharing of locations with friends, and supports unlimited progress tracking. The membership is not necessary to use the tool, however.

It’s a big world out there

Elden Ring‘s setting is massive, with it thought to be in the region of 12 square kilometers. But that alone isn’t what is so impressive about it. Plenty of games have big worlds but very few, if any, have a world this diverse.

It doesn’t fall prey to the classic copy and paste environments that are so common in open-world RPGs. Combine that with the sheer amount of things to do, and the use of an interactive map might be necessary for any Elden Ring players who want to make sure that they don’t miss out on content.
