Straightforward requirements in Eldest Souls

Two NPCs in Eldest Souls have fairly straightforward requirements.

Edd the Wanderer

Locations: Citadel, Spire, and Steps of Ascension – You’ll meet Edd in various areas as you progress through the game.

• Step 1: Citadel – Give him the Harp String from the Abandoned Battleground. You’ll receive the Feather of Dawn (increases movement speed when out of combat).
• Step 2: Everforest – Head north until you see a gate. Pick up the Sunfire Butterfly.
• Step 3: Spire – Use the Sunfire Butterfly on the telescope. Talk to Edd to get the Blessed Feather of Dawn (increases movement speed and damage while moving).
• Step 4: Steps of Ascension – Talk to him and he’ll tell you about the choices you’ve made related to the pledge/vessel that you obtained.

The Blacksmith

Location: Crossroads – Go east then down the steps to enter the forge.

• Step 1: Citadel – Pick up the Wall Guard Insignia here and bring it to the Blacksmith.
• Step 2: Spire – Get the Rusted Key. Then, return to the Citadel in the area with the wounded soldier. Use it to open the room prior to the Guardian boss arena. You’ll find the Bag of Crowns here.
• Step 3: Crossroads – Give the Bag of Crowns to the Blacksmith and he’ll let you choose between the Reinforced Plating or Sharpening Steel. I picked the latter due to its decent buff (+10% damage for three seconds after you deal any type of damage).
