Ender Lilies -- Twin Spires level and Ulv, the Mad Knight boss guide

You've taken out Knight Captain Julius in the Ruined Keep. Now, it's time to return to the Bastion Gates respite that you visited earlier. Head to the right, and you'll enter the Twin Spires zone. Anyway, here's our guide to help you with the Twin Spires level and Ulv, the Mad Knight boss fight in Ender Lilies: Quietus of the Knights. Twin Spires level: Map, important rewards, and spirit skills Let's talk about the important stuff that we can find in the Twin Spires level of Ender Lilies: Quietus of the Knights. First, take a look at the map below: 1. This is the Bastion Gates respite. 2. 100x Stagnant Blight - Go around the room until you reach the upper-left section. There's a lever here and a wall with a hidden nook. 3. This room has 1x Chain of Sorcery and 1x Amulet Fragment. 4. Respite: Courtyard - You'll find an Amulet Fragment at the top of the wall on the left side. You can either fall down from the exterior area of a higher floor or use the wall climb ability which you'll get in a while. 5. Relic: Snowdrop Bracelet - Kill the mobs, dash, and gain momentum to destroy the pustulant wall to the right. Oh, and if you keep going right, you'll find a section that you can wall climb on. That leads to... 6. You'll see an open area that leads outside. You'll be at the edge of a cliff. The water down below has a relic (Nymphilia's Ring). It also leads to Hinterlands - Land's Edge where you can obtain one of the game's endings. Later, once you obtain the wall climb perk, as well as the Verboten Champion and Incompetent Sinner skills, you can reach a ledge with two findings/notes and 100x Stagnant Blight. 7. Respite: Second Spire Chamber 8. Once you have the wall climb ability, you can find openings that'll let you traverse the tower's walls. In this room, you'll find: 30x Stagnant Blight. Relic: Ricorus' Ring - Check the pools of water to find an opening that leads down below. 9. You'll find some stuff here too: Amulet Fragment - On top of a ledge. Climb the wall at the right-hand side then air-dash to reach it. Spirit skill/miniboss: Forsaken Fellwyrm - Gain momentum with the Spectral Lance and break open the pustulant wall. 10. Respite: Monument of the Wind - You can open the locked portion if you drop down from #15. 11. This is a massive area with an interior section and an outer wall. You'll be going around using lifts and slashing contraptions to remove barricades. You'll also find lots of annoying "eyebot" mobs. Here are some items you can grab: 10x Stagnant Blight - You should find a couple of lifts that are close to each other. The large pillar above this part actually has a hidden nook (seen in the image below). Relic: Immortal's Crest - Reach the top area of the outer wall and use the grappling hook. 30x Stagnant Blight - Head to the bottom-left corner outside and climb the rock formation. 12. This is another huge area, and there's a lot of stuff that you need to take note of: 100x Stagnant Blight - At the bottom-left section. 10x Furious Blight - Inside a hidden nook next to the lever on the bottom-left portion (near the chasm). Locked door/Stone Tablet and 800x Stagnant Blight - Use the platforms to reach the center. Drop down the small nook and kill the rats. Pull the lever to bring another platform closer. This will take you upward where you'll see several hook points. Use the grapple and eliminate the flying mobs here. Now, it's going to take some practice, but you can use your jump's momentum to reach the top of this structure, allowing you to get to the locked door. You should find the Stone Tablet Fragment for the Twin Spires zone of Ender Lilies: Quietus of the Knights. 13. There's a Chain of Sorcery outside, but you need to fall down from the exterior of #16. 14. Activate the switch and the elevator will go up. You'll have to eliminate lots of mobs here. At the top, you'll find an Amulet Fragment. 15. This is a bridgeway that you can cross going to #16. There's also an opening at the right side that leads to an area at the bottom. You'll find 1x Chain of Sorcery, 1x Amulet Gem, and a chasm that takes you to the Monument of the Wind respite. 16. Relic: Ancient Dragon Claw - Found near the lower portion of this room (seen in the image below). There's also 30x Furious Blight at the upper-right area near the exit to #17. Oh, and if you drop down, you can collect the loot found at the outer walls of #13, 8, and 7. 17. Respite: Mourning Hall 18. Boss fight: Ulv, the Mad Knight - You can pick up a Priestess' Wish after defeating the boss by using the wall climb ability and going to the other side of the pillar. All right, let's talk about the Ulv, the Mad Knight boss fight in the next part of our Twin Spires guide for Ender Lilies: Quietus of the Knights. Ulv, the Mad Knight boss fight Let's discuss the Ulv, the Mad Knight boss fight in Ender Lilies: Quietus of the Knights' Twin Spires level. Ulv is one hectic encounter. This is primarily due to his erratic attacks. Above 50% HP, Ulv can do the following: Quick Swipe - You can parry these hits. Cross Slash - When Ulv backs away, he might move his arms sideways, signaling the use of this move. This can also be blocked/parried, but you need to time it perfectly. Ground Smash - Alternatively, Ulv will back away and suddenly dive toward Lily. Ground Slash - This one is different since he'll send a fiery projectile that travels along the ground. He gets even deadlier once he's below 50% HP. He'll become faster, stronger, and the Ground Slash turns into multiple fiery pillars. These can deal over 200 points of damage, likely killing Lily if she's already low on health. At best, you'll want to quickly move so you're between these pillars. For skills, I still used Gerrod as my means of dealing melee DPS, but ranged spells (Dark Witch Eleine) and summons (Western Merchant/Castle Town Maiden) are very helpful too. Once I had a full SP Gauge, I simply used Knight Julius' Last Rites (which is one of the best ultimate abilities in the game). After defeating the boss, you'll receive the following: Ulv, the Mad Knight - Think of this skill as akin to Wolverine doing several Berserker Barrage slashes. Bloody Knight's Claws - This is the wall climb ability. Simply move toward a wall and Lily will automatically latch onto it. This only works on flat surfaces, though, so you'll still slide off from diagonal or sloping structures. Anyway, let's talk about what we should do with our new abilities in the next part of our Twin Spires guide. Where do we go after this? More than likely, you'll want to recheck some of the rooms in the Twin Spires level. There are many rooms here with walls that you can climb on. For instance, you may check out the exterior of #11 and #16. The latter has a section that lets you climb down from its exterior walls, picking up loot as you keep going down. You should also revisit the Stockade and Ruined Keep. These zones have rewards that can only be reached if you have the wall climb and grappling hook abilities. Perhaps one of the most important areas you can return to is the White Parish - Cathedral Cloister respite. If you go to the left side, you can climb on the wall to reach a secret room. Here, you can eliminate the Chief Guardian miniboss and pick up a Priestess' Wish in a small nook at the top. Even better, if you wall-climb near the pustulant wall (seen below), you'll discover a hidden ledge. This allows you to gain momentum with Knight Julius' Spectral Lance. You can destroy the wall and pick up the Vibrant Plume relic which increases your jump height. But, what about actual progression? Well, the next area that you'll go to will be extremely deadly if you're not prepared. It's called the Verboten Domain, and it's got Blight-infested mists and waters.
