The Fallout series is not necessarily known for its graphic prowess, but we can’t deny that it looks much better in Fallout 4 than it did back in Fallout 3.
We’re guessing that’s why a few days ago, fans became concerned about an interview in which Fallout 4 director Todd Howard had apparently said that the game will run at 1080p/30fps on everything. Dialing back on the graphics is understandable, but it seemed a bit unnecessary to keep it down like that across all platforms.
Thankfully, Howard has tweeted a clarification on the matter:
Fallout 4 is 1080p & 30fps on Xbox One and PS4. Resolution and FPS are not limited in any way on the PC.

That’s right, as long as your PC gaming rig can handle it, you’ll be getting the Fallout 4 experience in glorious detail. The game will come out on November 10, 2015.
