FF7 Rebirth: How to throw a box into the generator as Cait Sith

Moogle madness.

If anyone else found this minigame objective to be extremely tedious, you’re not alone. I couldn’t initially figure out how to throw the box into the generator as Cait Sith, but now that I’ve solved out, you may find this FF7 Rebirth guide to be helpful.

How to throw box as Cait Sith into the generator in FF7 Rebirth

The quest objective Accelerant Distribution during Chapter 11’s main quest has you as Cait Sith and Moogle trying to aim and throw two boxes into the red circle and down the generator. This is extremely precarious and difficult to get on your first try, as it took me over a dozen attempts before getting it. You can throw the box into the generator as Cait Sith in FF7 Rebirth by hopping on the green box and aiming southwest.

During this objective, you’re blocked by a railing and can only go so close. The Moogle also can’t throw very far, leading me to be utterly confused as to where I was supposed to stand and aim towards. Luckily, I soon figured out a neat trick. See that green box near the railing? You can hop on top of it to get a better angle for throwing the box.

Grab a box, then run over to the green metal box by the railing. You’ll be able to jump on it, and then move to the top right corner to get closer to the generator. The top will spin around, allowing you to time it just right so your box falls into the red opening.

I had Moogle aim to point southwest, and once you see the blue dot hit the edge of the grey circles, you should be good to go. Now wait until the red circle is about to come around, and throw the box. With a few tries, you should be able to get one box in. Just remember that this requires two boxes, so unfortunately you have to repeat this once more to unlock the door.

Hopefully, this helped you figure out how to get past this annoying section of FF7 Rebirth. If you’re looking for more helpful tips, did you know that you can make Fort Condor easier by changing the difficulty?
