The theme is all about heists and thievery, and this plays into some of the new locations. The rumored names of these locations are Relentless Retreat and Sanguine Suites, and more may yet be revealed. What is known is that one of the locations plays like a heist mission. You’ll need to infiltrate past guards and security systems to reach a special vault containing powerful Mythic weapons. The rumors suggest there are many returning favorites including Midas’ Drum Gun.

Other items and weapons revealed in both leaks, teasers and the official trailer include a Shield Breaker throwable item, a Rocket Ram for breaching through structures, deployable turrets, and returning Silenced Pistols and Kinetic Blades.

You can see all the new Battle Pass characters in the trailer as well, and two should immediately stand out as new crossovers. The foremost personality showcased in the trailer is influencer Kaby Lame. Star Wars Jedi Ahsoka is also on the roster, which coincides with the debut of the new TV show dedicated to her continuing personal story. Of further note is a vampire character who will also act as a hostile world boss to defeat in return for a reward.

Epic already confirmed that Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 4 Last Resort begins on Friday, August 25 after some downtime. The current season ends at 3 AM ET on August 25, so there’s only a few hours left to wrap up your Battle Pass rewards before everything resets. Also keep an eye out for the Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 4 Last Resort Battle Pass trailer reveal sometime this evening or tomorrow morning once the season officially begins.

In other Fortnite news, it was also revealed that Nvidia’s DLSS 3 Frame Generation feature is coming to the game soon. Whether that will jive with Fortnite players is another matter though.
