Diona is a 4-star Cryo character in Genshin Impact, and is the fiesty bartender at the Cat’s Tail bar in Mondstadt. Diona is a mocktail blend of healing and shielding, giving your Cryo teams some great survivability. The generally helpful Diona hasn’t made a huge impact outside of a few events, but fans of her character will know how essential she is to certain team compositions, such as freeze teams and mono-Cryo teams. Diona’s best weapon options
Favonius Warbow – The Favonius Warbow allows Diona to gain more energy to ensure she can keep her Elemental Burst up, keeping your team healthy and strong. It also provides some Cryo Particles to ensure your other characters can charge up their Elemental Bursts as well.
Sacrificial Bow – The Sacrificial Bow is another solid support option for Diona, and is more useful for Cryo teams as you can double the amount of Cryo particles you get. The Sacrificial Bow allows DIona to use her Elemental Skill twice in succession, generating a huge amount of Cryo Particles and keeping your shields up as well.

Diona’s best artifact options
Noblesse Oblige
- 2-piece bonus – +20% elemental burst damage.
- 4-piece bonus – +20% ATK for all party members for 12 seconds after using an elemental burst.
This artifact is Diona’s best-in-slot. The Elemental Burst damage is not important, but Diona’s shields and heals are already sufficient to keep your team alive, so we don’t need to buff those aspects of her kit either. Instead, this set allows Diona to increase her supportive capabilities, boosting her team’s ATK by 20% when using Elemental Burst.
Emblem of Severed Fate
- 2-piece bonus – +20% energy recharge.
- 4-piece bonus – Increases the damage of your elemental burst by 25% of your energy recharge rate. You can gain a maximum of 75% bonus damage in this manner.
This alternative artifact set is generally useful thanks to the Energy Recharge it provides. This ensures that Diona can keep her Elemental Burst up. This shouldn’t be a huge issue provided you build enough Energy Recharge on her, but it’s there in case you need it.
