Genshin Impact: Best Razor weapons and artifacts guide

Strong like a wolf.

Razor, everyone’s favorite wolf boy, is a 4-star Electro character with a variety of playstyles. He  was one of the original 4-star characters introduced to the game, and therefore has fallen off a bit. But this doesn’t mean Razor isn’t a viable character. Razor has some tips and tricks of his own thanks to his high Normal Attack multipliers and his unique Elemental Burst that adds some Electro damage on top of his Physical damage. Razor is a Physical DMG dealer, so we’ll have to build him and empower his Normal Attack DMG as much as possible. Here’s our Genshin Impact Razor best weapons and artifacts guide to help you build the best wolf boy possible.

Razor’s best weapon options

Wolf’s Gravestone – The Wolf’s Gravestone is Razor’s best 5-star weapon. This weapon increases Razor’s ATK by a massive amount, with 608 Base ATK on top of an additional 49.6% ATK boost. The passive is yet another huge ATK boost, increasing Razor’s ATK by a flat 20%. When hitting enemies that are less than 30% HP, your entire party’s ATK will increase by another 40%. With the massive amount of ATK boosts, you’ll deal massive damage, and can focus on other stats for your artifacts. For alternatives, you can use the Song of Broken Pines, which increases Razor’s Physical DMG. (Generally, this weapon is inferior as it doesn’t empower Razor’s Electro DMG, which should not be underestimated.)

Serpent Spine – The Serpent Spine is Razor’s best 4-star option and the best option for low-spenders who do not have access to Wolf’s Gravestone or other 5-star weapons. While this weapon isn’t F2P-friendly, as you’ll need to spend money for the Battle Pass to unlock this weapon, the Serpent Spine ups Razor’s Crit Rate by a significant amount while increasing Razor’s flat DMG to a large degree. This weapon gets even stronger the more refinements you unlock for it.

Lithic Blade – The Lithic Blade is Razor’s best F2P-friendly option. This weapon increases Razor’s ATK by a significant amount, 510 Base ATK and an additional 41.3% boost, and the passive can improve Razor’s stats even more.

Razor’s best artifact options

Pale Flame

  • 2-piece bonus: Physical DMG Bonus +25%.
  • 4-piece bonus: When an Elemental Skill hits an opponent, ATK is increased by 9% for 7s. This effect stacks up to 2 times and can be triggered once every 0.3s. Once 2 stacks are reached, the 2-set effect is increased by 100%.

This is Razor’s best artifact set and is generally the to-go set for Physical DMG dealers. The Physical DMG bonus in addition to the ATK stat makes the Pale Flame Razor’s best set.

Gladiator’s Finale

  • 2-piece bonus: ATK +18%.
  • 4-piece bonus: If the wielder of this artifact set uses a Sword, Claymore, or Polearm, increases their Normal Attack DMG by 35%.

This is another great set for Razor. This is a viable option as it increases Razor’s Normal Attack DMG, which is where the majority of Razor’s DMG will come from.
