How to reach the domain

There are several ways for you to reach the City of the Deceased domain in Genshin Impact. The quickest route is via the Statue of the Seven in Old Vanarana. Head west until you see a floating seelie and follow it past the sandstorm. Eventually, your vision will clear and you’ll spot a destroyed giga mech in the distance. Check the side of its hand to find a tunnel that takes you underground.

Alternatively, let’s say you went ahead to fight the Setekh Wenut boss. The arena has a couple of tunnels, so take the eastern one.

There’s a seelie that you can follow, but do avoid jumping down the hole/chasm that opens up. Continue along the tunnel as it loops to the north.

How to unlock the domain

Now, to unlock the City of the Deceased domain in Genshin Impact, you simply need to light the four torches with Pyro attacks. You can see where they’re located in the image below.

When you’re done, interact with the doorway to tag it. You don’t need to clear the whole dungeon now, as it can just act as a fast travel point/teleporter to speed up the exploration of the underground areas.
