Lantern Rite Tales are mini-quests that you can complete during Genshin Impact‘s Lantern Rite event. These are actually fairly important since they’ll increase your Festive Fever stage. Doing so unlocks additional options and rewards for various activities. Here’s our guide to help you out.

Genshin Impact: Lantern Rite Tales guide
First, you’ll have to complete both starter quests to unlock the Lantern Rite event in Liyue Harbor. Then, open Genshin Impact‘s event panel and click on “Lantern Rite Tales.” You should get a quest called “City of Chores.”
For this one, you’ll simply need to speak with various NPCs in Liyue Harbor. The tasks are fairly straightforward, too.
When you’re done, you can check the Lantern Rite Tales screen again to see that multiple quests have popped up. Only three are available today, but more will go live from February 11 to February 13.

- Day 4 – Outspoken Linling and Little Lantern, Little Wish
Note 1: Each Lantern Rite Tale you complete should net you roughly 100 to 200 Festive Fever points. Once the other quests are active, you’ll able to increase your Festive Fever stage by finishing the tasks.
Note 2: After completing all these mini-quests as well as “Currents Deep Beneath the Lanterns,” you’ll reach the next Festive Fever stage. This will unlock Lantern Rite Tales II. Head over here for the next part of our guide series.
