Honkai: Star Rail Aetherium Wars event guide

A Pokemon-style event is live.

Honkai: Star Rail Version 1.4 is live, and the headlining event for this version is the Aetherium Wars event. This event tasks you with collecting different monsters in the game, almost like Pokemon, and using them to fight other enemies to win battles and get rewards. There are tons of great rewards for this event, such as a free 4-star, some Stellar Jades, and more, so you’ll want to tackle this event in the most efficient way possible. The Aetherium Wars event will last from October 11 until November 13. You must have completed the quest “Future Market II” to unlock the event, so be sure to be up-to-date on all your quests if you want to participate in this event. After completing Future Market II, you’ll receive a text message giving you instructions on how to start the event.

Aetherium Wars event guide

In-universe, Aetherium Wars is a video game where you collect cards of enemies and employ them in battle against other enemies. You’ll collect Aether Spirits and use them to fight other enemies in a tournament for the game.

You’ll have to complete a series of introductory quests before getting to the meat of the event. Like in Pokemon, Aether Spirits have weaknesses and resistances. Aberrants deal more damage against Humanoids, who deal more damage against Mechanical enemies, who deal more damage against Aberrant enemies. Otherwise, your Aether Spirits generally follow the same rules as regular combat, with Basic Attacks, Skills, and Ultimates.

In this event, you’ll have to challenge “Victory Zone trials” and defeat different contenders to win “Mastery Marks.” Win 4 Mastery Marks to qualify for the tournament. Head to various Victory Zones to collect more Aether Spirits. In this event, you’ll have to go to each Victory Zone, complete a quest, solve puzzles, and work to unlock the “Final Showdown! Intergalactic Celebration!” quest, allowing you to become the champion.

While exploring Victory Zones, you may come across “Expansion Chips” that you can use to power up your Aether Spirits. Collect Expansion Chips to make your Aether Spirits even stronger. You can also collect “Aether Spirit Upgrade Data,” which is used to level up your Aether Spirits and make them stronger.

By completing this event, you can earn Self-Modeling Resin, Tracks of Destiny, Lost Crystal, x1200 Stellar Jades, Credits, Light Cone and Character EXP materials, and more.
