Whenever I get a game, I tend to force a few of my friends to get said game so I don’t have to play alone. I did that exact thing for Last Epoch. What I didn’t know is that when you get other players into the game, they can refer you. Confused about this? I was until I found what how to do it. Last Epoch: How referral codes work
For the first time, it seems like a game rewards you for helping others buy the game. Last Epoch can be played solo and offline, but it’s always better with friends. When you earn something for simply inviting your friends into the game’s world, you can get a little incentive.

Referring a friend, it turns out, is one of the simpler things to do in the game. But after seeing a large number of players scream how to do it in the in-game chat, makes me wonder if a guide about referral codes is important.
Use the steps below to get you started.
- Press H on the keyboard to open up the Social panel.
- At the bottom of the screen press Copy Code.
- Here you can share the code either in the chat or on some other platform if you choose to keep things private.
Once you do the steps above, and your friend inputs the code you get a Bee Pet. If you get three friends to refer you, the more bees appear in the swarm. So, the swarm gets larger per referral. It’s also worth noting that you can only use the code three times. Additionally, the bee swarm is a cosmetic item. Don’t expect any gameplay buffs to come along with it.
How to enter the code
Getting the code is much easier, all the work is done for you. In the same Social panel (press H), type or copy and paste it into the dialogue box where it says Enter Referral Code. When you’ve input everything correctly, the person who gave you the code will be notified.
How to enable the Bee Pet
After you get a referral, the Bee Pet will automatically get sent to your inventory, but you’ll need to equip it. This can be done by opening up your Inventory (I) and heading into the Appearance tab. The bees should be in this menu. When you find them, drag the pet into any of two pet slots.
