This boss is an experiment gone wrong from the Fontaine Research Institute, so it’s only right if we’re the ones who put this experiment to a stop. This boss utilizes Pneuma and Ousia energy, so you’ll want to have a character with Pneuma attacks to disable this boss. Where to find the Experimental Field Generator world boss in Genshin Impact

Fortunately, this world boss is pretty easy to find. Head to the following Teleport Waypoint, and you should be able to just follow the path to reach the boss arena.

This boss will channel Ousia energy throughout the fight, so you’ll want to have a character with Pneuma attacks to disable the boss and make this fight easier. The boss does not take any reduced damage or deal stronger attacks if you are unable to disable this boss with Pneuma energy, so don’t worry if you don’t have characters with Pneuma ready just yet.

The main gimmick of this boss is a mechanic where the boss will adjust the gravity around the arena. This will allow your characters to jump high in the air to avoid attacks. One of these attacks is a series of shockwaves that you need to jump over, which is fairly easy to avoid. The boss will also send out cubes of Geo energy that will explode as you traverse the stage. Overall, you’ll just need to brute force this boss while dodging its basic attacks.

Recommended Characters

To really make this boss trivial, you can bring a character with Pneuma-energy imbued in their attacks. Fortunately, there are two very strong Pneuma characters currently in the game: Lyney and Neuvillette. You can create teams revolving around these two characters to easily destroy the boss. Examples include Lyney / Kazuha / Xiangling / Bennett and Neuvillette / Zhongli / Fischl / Nahida. Other characters with Pneuma attacks are Hydro Traveler and Freminet, although these characters are not as powerful.

Aside from the mentioned characters, any team that can dish out strong single-target damage will suffice. This boss is not difficult even without Pneuma characters, so you can use any main DPS character at your disposal, such as Yoimiya, Hu Tao, or Alhaitham. Note: This boss is a Geo boss and therefore has a 70% resistance to Geo attacks. This resistance increases to 110% after it adjusts the gravity, so Geo characters are not recommended for this fight.
